As we move further into the 21st century, the traditional model of teaching and learning is beginning to change. No longer is it expected that individuals learn in isolation from individual or text-books that are deemed ‘authorities’. It is much more common to learn via large networks created between people from all around the world. This is what is happening in the modern classroom – the doors are being opened to many more possibilities. Whilst this is very exciting, it can also be daunting. As part of the rise of technology being introduced into the classroom, the Department of Education and Training has created a large number of resources for parents to access.
